Databases listed below at New York Public Library (NYPL) may provide local business directory data.
Several search parameters/limits are available, such as:
-- Verified Businesses or Unverified Business or **Closed Businesses
-- Major Industry Group or SIC/NAICS
-- State, County, Metro Area
-- Year Established
-- Years in the database
**Closed Businesses: It does not provide when a business has closed, just that they have closed, and the date of the last update in the database.
