Association devoted to the interdisciplinary study of the culture, history, literature, sociology, psychology, demography, folklore, and politics of Italians in America. Since its founding, IASA has published over thirty volumes of the proceedings of its annual conference meetings. Among our members are the most noted professional authorities as well as enthusiastic lay persons. IASA uses scientific and scholarly methods as it seeks to explore and disseminate authentic information and interpretation of the wide-ranging experiences of Italians in America.

ITALICS: Television for the Italian American Experience. The Italian American magazine of CUNYTV, the online television program, produced by the John D Calandra Italian American Institute. Presents timely topics of interest in the fields of Italian American literature, arts, and academia, etc., hosted by Dr. Julian Tamburri, Dean of the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute.

Fosters the sharing, diffusion, documenting, preserving, future of the Italian American experience. Officially designated in 1995 as a university-wide institute under the aegis of Queens College. Its important programs range from conferences, lectures, cultural exchanges, to book readings and events. Projects of interest concern collecting data on Italian Americans, archival and digital projects, counseling Italian American students, providing internships and more.

Scholarship, mentoring and cultural exchange of Italian American and non Italian American women. With active New York chapter that organizes social and cultural events.
