What is Multimedia?

The multimedia collection  DVDs, video tapes, sound recordings, audio tapes, print images, and digital resources.

How and Where to find Multimedia

At the Rosenthal Library, you can find DVDs, video tapes, CD-ROMs, microforms, and audio tapes. All material is accessible through the CUNY Catalog and OneSearch.

Use the Advanced Search in OneSearch to search for media. From the Record Type or Format Type drop-down menu, choose the type of item that you want. In OneSearch, select the Resource Type you want in the Advanced Search drop-down menus.

The Art Library maintains an extensive picture collection organized by medium, country and century. Rosenthal Library also subscribes to ARTstor, a visual image database, which is accessible from the Databases page on our Library homepage.

The Music Library, located in the Aaron Copland School of Music, contains over 20,000 sound recordings as well as videocassettes and DVDs.
