Hello, I am a QC librarian associated with your course and the ELL Dept. I have created this LibGuide as a resource for you and your class. It is based on your assigned readings by Madame de Lafayette, Voltaire, Balzac, Wiesel and Madame de Duras in Professor Joseph Sungolowsky's FR41W course.
As you begin your research for your final paper, please review this guide. The tabs above, once clicked on, contain recommendations on finding sources and background information.
There are lots of library resources online, but you need your library barcode (found on the back of your QCard ID) for access. If you don’t have your QCard, or have other problems with your barcode, please send email to:
QC_ask_Circ@qc.cuny.edu
for assistance.
Please begin your research well before the due date of your paper. This way, you will have time to explore your topic.
As you start looking for sources for your paper, review each tab above, and make a plan to do a little research each day for:
* Literary Criticism in Books
*Literary Criticism in Articles
*Themes and Genres
*Historical Sources
*MLA Style
If you would like more assistance from me (and that is what I am here for), kindly use my '"Schedule Appointment' feature below my picture. We will set up a time to meet virtually.
thank you for your attention,
Alexandra de Luise
